I have used Microsoft Word for many things from reports, papers, and all other projects that have come about during school. Teachers use it as the infrastructure for students to write their papers, and it has been passed on throughout the years and is the stepping stone for all research and essay work.
Copyright and fair use for me has always been utilized to not only prevent illegal use of content, but to prevent plaigarism as well. As a teacher, I would definitely break down what could be used and what could not, as well as provide advice and many different ways of creativity that could spawn new ideas.
Cyberbullying would definitely be the top issue on my list to resolve. Reason being is that too many children get bullied and have their lives and livelihoods ruined at a young age. One way to prevent this is to not only explain why cyberbullying is wrong, but to learn the rights from the wrongs when in the online world. Consequences for those who partake in cyberbullying would be a complete cutoff of digital resources. The second issue that I believe would be helpful to implement would be academic dishonesty. On many occasions, and sometimes not on purpose, plaigarism and cheating are known to be at the forefront of dishonesty. Anything that involves said issues would be subject to a 0 for all parties involved, as well as further consequence which could amount to suspension at minimum or grounds for expulsion for repeat offenders. Lastly, we live in a world where everything is easily accessible, searched and easy to see. Inappropriate content has been a staple in online communication and inspiration for these images come from an 18+ platform, that should not be seen from students to begin with. Using computers to do such activity can be prevented by explaining how dangerous it is to not only do and see that, but put your personal information out for the world to see. Breaking down the factors and consequences can kill two birds with one stone. Safety for students, and teachers as well is very important not only through school, but real life as well.

1. Teachers are influenced by technology because it provides a more efficient means of communication, as well as production. For students, them being the learners in this digital day and age helps them get the skills of learning at an early age, whether it be visual, audiotory, or any other complex method used to boost the experience that they could use for the future. Not only for a job, but for advancing in school and knowing the methods that are required of them when typing reports, or working online in general. Students are influenced by technology because it helps them, and even when technology is used for fun, it can be implemented into their day to day learning as well.
2. The ISTE standards are extremely beneficial. One standard that makes me and my creative trait happy, is that creativity and innovation can be utilized. As a world that moves further into technological advancement, more people do more creative things. There are some parts of technological operations that are fuzzy to me as an adult. However, I do feel satisfied of knowing a lot of what I know.
3. As discussed in class, digital natives are people who have been raised by technology. The more time passes by, the more technology becomes a huge staple in everyday life. While I do agree that teachers will not be replaced with robots, more machines are being used in stores and things are becoming more digital. While I think technology does way more good than harm, some aspects will never be changed and one in particular that a computer does not have the upper hand on is being social. While networking does exist, person to person meetings are viewed in a more positive light. Once your foot is in the door, technology will more than likely be something that will need to be used for a new job, or a new circumstance built based off of meeting other people.

My prior experiences using technology have a long history. After having every iPhone since the iPhone 4, I have become very fluent in the handheld aspect of using technology. When it comes to computers, Google Chrome is how I use the internet mainly due to speed. The only thing I would consider myself to not be the best at is coding without looking at how to code. Other than that, I've always had smooth experiences when using technology.
The reason I signed up for this class is because it is said to fulfill the computer competency requirement, which is one of the last requirements needed to graduate. I hope to learn more about certain technical aspects of a computer such as what the best software/hardware is to make a computer be at its fastest productivity level. Also, I would be interested in learning shortcuts to certain programs.
I am said to be more active than reflective when it comes to learning in the first section. In the second section, I am more visual than verbal because I prefer to see things. With my abstract way of thinking, I link more towards intuitive learning. I learned that I prefer sequential learning, which is a definite, especially when it comes to learning math.
